Founded in Poitiers in 1948 to train engineers in the fields of mechanical and aeronautical engineeing, ISAE-ENSMA has been located since 1993 north Poitiers, on the Poitiers-Futurocope aeronautics and transport campus.<\/p>\n

In 2011, ENSMA turns a corner by taking on the name of ISAE-ENSMA by creating, with ISAE-SUPAERO, the ISAE Group, the world leading centre of training and research in aeronautical and space engineering.<\/p>\n

Today, the ISAE group represents more than 6,000 students, with three member schools in the three main aeronautical regions of France (ISAE-SUPAERO in Occitania, ISAE-ENSMA in New Aquitaine, ISAE-SUPMECA in Ile-de-France). In New Aquitaine, the group’s partner schools (ESTIA Bidart, EIGSI La Rochelle, ELISA Aerospace Bordeaux) have joined forces with ISAE-ENSMA to form the ISAE New Aquitaine alliance, with more than 3,500 students.<\/p>\n

More locally, ISAE-ENSMA has concluded strong agreements with the University of Poitiers, which will very soon celebrate its 700th anniversary. Joint research laboratories, including a CNRS unit, have enabled the school to be ranked among the world’s top 200 institutions in mechanical engineering in the Shanghai ranking for several years.<\/p>\n

The programs is extensive, covering fields such as fluid and structure mechanics, aerodynamics, energy, heat transfer and propulsion, materials, real-time computer science\u2026 Many industrials participate to the teaching activities, and share with students their professional experiences, in the framework of industrial chairs and sustainable partnerships. Humanities and social sciences are also included in the programs, as well as a solid international culture, to strengthen the expertise of our students. Our students are strongly involved in their education, through innovative projects, they are the next generation of scientists and managers, able to meet the industrial and societal challenges of the future.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9f\u00e9rence sur son territoire et dans sa r\u00e9gion, Membre du groupe ISAE, p\u00f4le mondial de formation et de recherche en a\u00e9ronautique et spatial, L\u2019ISAE-ENSMA r\u00e9pond pr\u00e9sent face aux d\u00e9fis industriels et soci\u00e9taux, dans le domaine des transports et de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, en formant des scientifiques de haut niveau, capables de piloter des projets complexes, de faire preuve de leadership pour manager des \u00e9quipes et des organisations, et d'initiative pour entreprendre, dans un contexte international fortement connect\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>

Cette vision guide la formation des ing\u00e9nieurs ISAE-ENSMA pour les prochaines ann\u00e9es. L\u2019ENSMA a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1948 \u00e0 Poitiers pour former des ing\u00e9nieurs dans les domaines de la m\u00e9canique et de l\u2019a\u00e9rotechnique. Depuis 1993, elle est implant\u00e9e sur un campus r\u00e9solument novateur au sein du Futuroscope. En 2011, elle est devenue ISAE-ENSMA en fondant avec ISAE-SUPAERO le premier p\u00f4le mondial de formation sup\u00e9rieure en a\u00e9ronautique et spatial\u00a0: le groupe ISAE.<\/p>

L\u2019enseignement couvre des domaines scientifiques \u00e9tendus tels que la m\u00e9canique des fluides et des structures, l\u2019a\u00e9rodynamique, l\u2019\u00e9nergie, la thermique et la propulsion, les mat\u00e9riaux, l\u2019informatique temps r\u00e9el, \u2026 De nombreux industriels participent \u00e0 ces enseignements, et font profiter les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de leur exp\u00e9rience sur des cas concrets, dans le cadre de chaires industrielles ou de partenariats durables.<\/p>

Une formation en sciences humaines et sociale, ainsi qu\u2019une solide culture internationale, viennent compl\u00e9ter l\u2019expertise de nos \u00e9tudiants. Acteurs de leur formation, motiv\u00e9s par des projets innovants, ils sont les scientifiques et les managers de demain qui sauront relever les d\u00e9fis industriels et soci\u00e9taux du futur.<\/p>

En 2011, l\u2019ENSMA a franchi un cap en adoptant la marque ISAE et en prenant le nom d\u2019usage ISAE-ENSMA. En effet, l\u2019ISAE \u2013 Institut Sup\u00e9rieur de l\u2019A\u00e9ronautique et de l\u2019Espace issu de la fusion SUPAERO et ENSICA \u2013 d\u00e9cline sa marque vers les \u00e9coles d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs a\u00e9ronautiques fran\u00e7aises respectant une charte commune de valeurs et partageant des projets collectifs de d\u00e9veloppement. En 2012, l\u2019ESTACA et l'Ecole de l\u2019Air ont int\u00e9gr\u00e9 le Groupe ISAE. Le Groupe ISAE ainsi form\u00e9 permet d\u2019accro\u00eetre le rayonnement et la visibilit\u00e9 de ses membres, et de promouvoir la formation d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs d\u2019excellence dans les domaines de l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique et de l\u2019espace.<\/p>
